Thomas Blaeschke honored by the State of California
Being guest at an event of Silicon Valley Cyber Lions Club on April 4, 2026, Thomas was invited to be seated at the table of current State Treasurer Fiona Ma who was just winning the primary elections on the side of the Democrats to run for Lieutenant Governor of California in November 2026.
Suddenly he was asked to come on stage. There he received from Fiona Ma a recognition of the State of California for his „Outstanding Musical Contributions“.
Thomas thanked but also pointed out that it is also the Team of Voice Over Piano and even Bremer Musical Company in Germany who are the foundation of his works, especially Sara Dähn as a longtime friend and singer, as well as the members of the band like drummer Mark Wetjen, bassist Stephan Werner, guitar players Frederic Drobnjak and Klaus Heuermann or the violin section lead by Silke Mundt, no to forget the singers and friends on stage Diana Skavronskaya and Alexander Hohler.
Thomas promised also in future to support also welfare organization like Lions, Rotary and many 501(3)c´s as in the past to help helping those in need.

Thomas was organizing diverse concerts in the Bay Area in 2023 together with his Band Voice Over Piano and star singer Sara Dähn. They also gave three concerts for good causes and donated some thousand dollars to the Maui Restore project of the Silicon Valley Cyber Lions Club and the Legacy Through Giving Foundation.
Thomas as the conductor got an honorable Certificate of Honor of the City of San Francisco handed over by Aaron Peskin, President of the Board of Supervisors of San Francisco.

Es begann mit einer Auftrittsanfrage für ein UN-Abendevent anläßlich des Lions Day of United Nations am 03. März 23 in New York und entwickelte sich zu einer kleinen Tour auch in San Francisco – mit mega-coolem Ergebnis.
